God, Money: abundant blessings!

God: 
Psalm 16:2 "I said to the Lord, 'You are my Lord; apart from you I have no good thing.'"

I am so blessed and absolutely grateful for how God has provided for Mat and I in our lives.  God has promised to provide for us and He has truly gone beyond His promise. 

Money:

Lord, please help Mat and I to be good servants to you and help us to spend your money that you have blessed us with wisely.  We adore you and thank you for your graciousness!!

God, Food and Love: Another busy week!

God:  It has been a very busy week this week!! Mat and I have both been working a lot of overtime, working out at the gym, and attempting to keep a clean apartment!  By the grace of God, He has given me the strength to work extra and keep a bright smile on my face :)  Mat has also received a lot of really great compliments at work and I am very proud of him for working so hard.  God has also blessed us so much in so many areas of our life...we are doing "much better than we deserve" - I hear that a lot from Christians "How are you today?  - Better than I deserve!"  It's very humbling to hear that and recognize that we are all dealt different cards but the way we choose to make our lemonade shapes our lives...We are all sinners and we are no where near perfect, yet God still blesses us here on this earth and meets our needs :)

Food:  Mat and I are picking up our organic co-op tomorrow and I am really excited.  I'm starving for some fruit and vegetables...we always seem to run out of everything (but lettuce) by the end of the week.  This stuff lasts soooo long too - we've had some kale in the fridge for over two weeks and it still looks great!

Love:  Loving my enemy...so much harder than people realize.  I find myself thinking of the people in my life that I strongly do not agree with and wonder how I can do a better job of loving them.  Any tips?? 


"Family" - Special shout-out to my dad today, he is 50 years old today!! Happy 50th Birthday dad, we love you!!!
